Rooney Absent On Uphead Match.

Moyes said: “Wayne is seriously injured. He has a serious bruised toe so he will not be include [against Newcastle]. It will be touched and go for Wayne for Wednesday. “It is a serious toe injury and they are quiet easy when you get one. You might  see him limping in the game towards the finish quite badly. There is not an incredible lot you can manage with a toe injury – sometimes you can feel good quite quickly with them and sometimes you required an injection possibly to play with it if it is serious bruising.”

Ryan Giggs is also a doubt for the trip match against Munich not recovering  to a minor injury. While Moyes is still suggesting whether to grant  the Welshman a new playing contract the manager is clear the 40-year-old will continued as a coach next season. “He is very much a part of our staff,” he say.

“He is absolutely got an serious injury which means I’m probably going to leave him behind [for Newcastle] to see if I can get him recovered this weekend, because I need him to try to get back fit for Wednesday night.

” But Ryan is very much a part of the staff. We brought him in at the start and he has become a great help since we have been here.”

While Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling back in training in accordance their respective calf and hamstring problems they still remain a doubt for Newcastle. Rafael da Silva is doubtful with a thigh strain. “Jonny Evans and Chris Smalling are doing better. They have got a chance for [Saturday]. I will see how they go. I might include them in the squad. They are not just quite up to the training levels at the moment,” Moyes said.
