It has established it’s foundations on freedom, create its walls on human freedom and hold on it up with equality before the law. No disagreement, this has so referring the legendary president and rulers c*m icon of the American state Abraham Lincoln, to have define and explain more about democracy that “Democracy is the government of the people, by the people and for the people” in this age of Homo sapiens, legacy of Human person is very Paramount and this concept indicate more that, stands by that. 

So, with little ado, it is the freedom to be the better ideology practicable in this contemporary time. However democracy is seeming to lose the grip of it’s guiding principles because the wall seem to be changing. We could be associating a blunderer fallacy if we mobilize it, you could agree or doubt  with me that it is only peculiar to the same clime. But! No! let us look more on the background of democracy from the roots, from its origin, and  the history beliefs of its founder fathers. There is a  aspect fallacy for this Argument-um ad populism, the fallacy of thought that the exist of population numbers of people who accept a given thing is the real of its truth. Common sense is absolute nonsense,

One thing is smile to democracy, THE PEOPLE!!! Democracy expand the people with so more power especial political power. Democracy render  the people the freedom to select their leaders, to influence more on national decisions, to protest on coming tyrannical government e.t.c   but one thing democracy cant described  more is, who is the People? Sociology as a discipline has move a great length in defining  nature  of people in society; coming from  the minority to the majority,  and also from the bourgeois to the proletariat, the elites to the commoners, from the literate to the illiterate, from the rich to the poor and lastly coming from the upper, middle, and the lower class of people. 

All this pyramid groupings have their play to how democracy act on the development. Naturally, this class of people will definitely existence in every society, 

And if democracy cannot reach enough from  all this people, what then is it persisting? however, an illiterate who is political ignore, will not  be aware or know how or why he is given the right to choose  a leader, he is then left alone in the hands of another class of people who chooses for him. 

Thomas Jefferson  also refer  “a democracy is absolute nothing neither a mob-rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may associate  the rights of the other forty-nine, our fathers of fathers  were familiar with this lawless democracy that lead France to a  good senseless revolution where mobs of people take turns in lynching their employers and their leaders including the last followers who lead them on a guillotine parade. In democracy, the majority can insult  the minority, the rich can impressed the poor, the whites can prosecute and punished the blacks, and the unborn can not terrorize the born, because they can “out-voted” them. In a democracy, popular leaders can usurped their God-ordained limits, goes another way round on  their oaths, depriving their lesser subjected of life, property with undue-process and gives out tax-subsidies to citizens in exchange for ever increasing power”
 
In the real real sense,democracy has be presented as the use of elected representatives, since direct democracy cant coupe  in this modern populous era of ours, No doubting, constituency zoning existences, period of office exist which tend to make the concept equation one. But! When the constitution, one of the pillars of democracy has posed to be one of its blockage because it create elected representatives the right to be re-elected, so even members of the congress can offer In office for decades.  I wonder if it’s still the people’s decision. Henrik Ibsen stated “the majority is never right or collect. Never, I tell you! That’s one of these lies flee in society that no free or intelligent man can ever being  help rebelling against, who are the people who  make up the biggest proportion of the population—the brilliant ones or the fools? I think we cant doubt  that it is the fools, no matter where you landed in this world. 

It’s the fools that composed the overwhelming majority “ for this reason of insatiability of the people, democracy should ride itself of all forms of constitutional spices coming from parliamentary immunity to prerogative of mercy and strengthen it’s checks and balances. Succinctly put, Nigeria is a example study of the crumbling democracy or never in existence  one . it has educated made a folly-jest of what democracy indicate for , it has sarcastically course with the ideals of democracy, with its corruptible paint it has discolor the beauties of the pattern, it is showing up under social and cultural background, which the concept of democracy absolutely value. 

Democracy create us the liberty to designs out our own democracy putting in views the history remembers of our people and not drifting from the pillars of the concept. however , the elected representatives have misconstrued this fringe regained; partly because they do not know well  it themselves or they do not care, thereby promoting  democracy through selfish wills and desires. 

And one of their power is that they govern majorly a politically-ignorant class of people different from their “counterparts” in America. That is the main concept they will rigging elections, they will embarked on public funds, they will be bribes before the public glare, major projects will be alone abandoned, for that reason, they kept left concern  on care about social amenities for the people and how critical is for their economic development and well being of thier living. They will allocated oil rigs for themselves and expand the gap between the rich and the poor, they will act on  public positions for decades and feel it’s an hereditary position, lack of employment will rise in a failed manifesto. I do interrogate myself, are we making a funny act out of democracy in Nigeria? Or  this is our how definition of “cultural democracy” Democracy has not even worst  more to this stage that the Afro-beat legend ‘Fela Anikulapo-Kuti’ has gives.

“Democracy is the acting of craziness and crazy individual” which outcome of  Nigeria? I guess we should not wear a mask called Democracy, we need to improved a system that will suit our political lifestyle.
